After four long years of poker limbo, the Oipsl League FINALLY finished it's fourth season! The Champions Finale took place on Monday, and all results have been updated. You can view the report in the Reports section as well as see the final standings for Player of the Year.

Although it was a disappointing season with a shortened schedule and smaller turnouts, I am just glad we were able to finish the season. Thank you to everyone who came out to play in these tournaments to make this all possible- without you, there would be no league! Stay tuned to this page as well as our Facebook page for updates in the coming months for the possibility of a second reunion of the league in Vegas and other possible upcoming events!

Season four comes to an end this weekend with the start of the final event Champions Finale. To recap the season, Chad, Stayson, and Brent all brought their "A" games , finishing in the top three for most of the season, but it was Chad and Stayson who were able to walk away with titles. Chad tied his season-record with 3 titles, while Stayson tripled his career titles by taking two of his own. The season resumed four years removed from high school with CBoP IV, where Arlen took the crown. Now, with the Champions Finale looming, all three season-four title holders are vying for one more title and get Champion of the Year honors.

Let's take a look at each competitor, and end the post with the different PoTY scenarios:

After about a week and a half of moving stuff around and redesigning the site, the new site for the Oipsl Poker League is officially up! What's different from the old site? Well, for one, we updated the design to be more sleek and easy on the eyes, something we didn't really have with the orange background of the old site. Pages that were unnecessary were removed so that links take up less space, and we added new content like videos! Also ahead, with the creation of our weekly casino nights, I am thinking of designing another site just for "Casa de Chad," where I'll be posting an events calendar for other casino nights in the future. Until then, all events can be seen on facebook as well as here on the official Oipsl Poker League site.
Here's some specifics about the different pages of our site:

• Home: Since moving all data to a database, the home page serves more like a blog, and as such, each entry can be archived to be viewed later!
• Reports: The "Reports" page is the old "Results and Coverage" page, which has been made easier to navigate. You can now arrange them by event in ascending or descending order, as well as only view events from a particular season. You can also view reports from non-league tournaments as well as awards coverage on this page.
• Stats: I combined several different pages into the "Stats" section of the site, which includes league records, PotY standings, and Hall of Fame.
• Videos: This is a new section of the site that includes our library of videos we've captured from different league events we've taped over the years as well as bloopers and extras. These videos used to be sold for $2 for full event coverage during high school, but can now be viewed here for FREE. Stay tuned as we will be adding new videos over the coming weeks.
• Photos: The "Photos" section has photos taken from previous events. Keep checking back at the end of every tournament as we will be constantly updating this page!
• About: And finally, the "About" page is just a little snippet of the league's history intended for newcomers to the league or for those who happen to stumble upon this site wanting to know more about what the league represents as well as what we do.
